More than a decade ago, we made a decision that would forever change the course of our cattle breeding. In spite of having a solid base of animals, we were facing significant challenges: problems in births, less than optimal morphology and rebreeding that did not meet our standards. It was then that the opportunity arose to travel to France and meet first-hand with the best breeders in the industry.
This trip not only allowed us to acquire stallions of exceptional quality, but also provided us with invaluable knowledge about genetic selection. We learned to differentiate morphological lines and to choose the appropriate specimens for each type of cattle operation. Thanks to this experience, we began to import French stallions with superior characteristics, which marked a turning point in our production.
The turning point of our livestock farming
The results were not long in coming: birth problems disappeared, our animals began to develop a more efficient morphology and meat yields improved notably. The quality of our specimens became evident, which increased demand and consolidated our livestock as a reference in the sector.
